Påsk
Påsk is Swedish for Easter. In Sweden Easter is traditionally celebrated with bonfires and Easter witches. In the olden days the fires offered protection against the evil of the witches but that is no longer necessary. 😉 However, the Easter bonfires remained, and children dressed as witches now go from door to door to sing Easter songs. Easter in Sweden is a big family celebration. Keen on having the Swedish Easter atmosphere at your own table? Choose a combination of all sorts of different natural shades. Start with a linen tablecloth in the colour oyster picturing the light in the centre of this composition. Finish with dark earthy tableware and wooden accessories. Crisp white linen napkins remind us of Spring’s freshness and keep the colour of the Easter eggs simple and natural.
